Oh what terrible news (Re: the death of Bobby Stephens). I did not have many friends in high school, but Bobby was one of them. We went to the same church. I am very sad to hear this news. I knew him even in jr high school and spent quite a bit of time with him and his family when we were kids.
Thank you so much for your nice Christmas card. I have been meaning to send you an email ever since I got it but it seems like when I do think of something I should do, I don't remember it when I can do anything about it. Too bad it has to be Bobby's death that makes me remember at the right time. You have a very lovely family, congratulations. I don't have a decent pic to send back to you, but in the spring of 03, Shelly Miller and her two daughters visited me in DC. It was wonderful to see her and it was as if we were still the same two people as in high school and picked up exactly as we left off. So, I attached a pic of the two of us, I don't think she will mind.

Sometimes it seems like it has been forever since we were in high school
and other days it seems like only yesterday. WOW, where have the years
gone!!!
I am currently a student at USF working on becoming a special education
teacher. I am employed by Hillsborough County Schools at Durant High
School as an Assistant Teacher in a mentally handicapped classroom - I work
with a student that is 16 and has Down's syndrome.
My husband, Jim, and I live in SE Hillsborough County. My kids are all grown
now - Julie - age 30 lives in Lakeland, Florida with her husband,
Burt and my two precious grandsons, Chase, age 10 and
Conner who will be 2 in April. My sons, Anthony - age 29 and
Chris - age 19, live in Mulberry. Neither are married yet.
I also have 3 stepchildren (ages 43,42 and 40), 8 stepgrandchildren
(ages 24, 24, 22, 19, 19, 18, 15, 9) and 3 stepgreatgrandchildren
(ages 5, 2 1/2 & 1).
Thanks a bunch for taking the time to provide this wonderful website.

Artie GlassIt was great to look at the 30th Reunion pictures and see all the great "young" faces (I must admit the gals look better than the guys!) Sorry I had a conflict and could not attend. Hey, how about a 50th Birthday party at THE SCHOOL!! I drive by often, but have not gone inside and I would like to see the old place and all the new updates and additions they have done! We could have a tour of the school, '70's music and food on the courtyard and bring our families for all to see. My son, Dax, graduated from Florida State University and is now attending FSU Law School.

I'm sorry I had to miss the reunion , I brought the family home last year for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and am not quite financially recuperated from throwing that party, but we had a blast seeing people I hadn't seen since I was a kid. It really had me primed for the reunion, but then the timing was all wrong. How many classmates attended? I went to the web sight and it could use some help, but it was nice to see some photos, can we see some more and can we label them better, the one picture that has the most people you can't read the names. ...and who are these people anyway...I don't think I would have recognized a soul. Do we have any information about our deceased? You always wonder how we loose the meek, it seem to be the ones you don't expect, our class had plenty of careless/daredevil types but those aren't the ones we are missing. I went to you web site, it is very nice, I would not have pegged you for a photographer, everyone new I would do art of some sort and I am still doing it; currently a desktop publisher for a marketing firm. And, how did you get to Huntsville??? since you could have established yourself almost anywhere? I better get back to work, I am enclosing a photo of my family from last summer, we were all hot and miserable and look it, doing photos in Plant park before the anniversary party. Sorry I missed our reunion and am just now getting around to contacting you. My husband and I have had lots going on and our lives are now settling down a bit.
I didn't even know we had a website for our class. I'm so into my world with my son and daughter that the only person I still talk to is Michele Misiak.
Anyways, I was so shocked to see Etta Harrison's and Sharon White's names on the memory pages. What happened to them? Etta was one of my best friends in 7th grade at Pierce Jr. High and Sharon and I were close at one time too. Please let me know.

What the heck would anyone want to know! I sold my drums, sold my hearse, cut my hair, and became a business dude! I opened a kitchen company in Palm Beach, sold it and moved to California, opened a kitchen company there, sold it, and now own Aya Kitchens of Illinois in Chicago.
There it is! My life! I am married, have 3 kids, Michelle(24), Russ(11), and Kelly(9). Between the business and my family, I have kept extremely busy over the years, and have finally given up on the idea of being a drummer for a rock band (well almost). I do wish I would have found you guys earlier, but as I told you, by the time I found Classmates, the 30th reunion was over.
